I went to the Melbourne museum today, alone, as my addicted to rugby boyfriend decide to go away from me for few days just the time to watch the world cup and get drunk for every match.
So here I am, lonely happy Magali entering a museum about australian wild life and natural history. Very funny experience indeed. See the comments I attach the the pictures!
My life since Andrew left is unexpectedly more interested! I went in a French creperie for dinner yesterday, had a lovely ham and cheese galette. I've talked a bit with the manager - cook of this place, and he told me that their special crepe is the crepes aux escargots. Fucking hell he dared selling snails crepes in Australia! But the most interesting (and strange) is that there are more australian people ordering snails crepe than French. He said it's very successful! beurrrk.
Another funny thing that I saw yesterday was at the toilets, in the hostel. There was a japanese girl on the phone in the bathroom. She was talking a lot. I think she was a bit bored of talking a lot to her friend on the phone, she went to the toilet (still with her phone and talking), stayed there 2-3 minutes , flushed the toilet, and after all that she was still talking on the phone!! She even washed her hands, and left. I can't help imagining how the person on the phone felt, hearing all those disgusting noises and still having to listen to this girl....
